Zina L. Long

Zina L. Long, age 82, of Greenville, passed away Sunday afternoon, July 19, 2026.

She was born in Greenville on June 3, 1944 to John W. and Margaret L. (Gaugh) Porter. Zina was a 1962 graduate of Greenville High School. She retired from the food service department of the Greenville Area School District in 2007 following 26 years of employment.

Zina was a woman of very strong faith. She was a member of Greenville Alliance Church where she belonged to the prayer group and attended Bible Studies. Zina was an avid walker, enjoyed outside activities, and especially loved being with her family.

She is survived by a son, Gregory (Michelle) Long of Beaver Falls, PA; two sisters, Beverly (Fred) Kiser and Patricia (Ben) Eddy, both of Greenville; a brother, John (Kim) Porter of Mooresville, NC; a son-in-law, Gene Cianci of Greenville; six grandsons: Gavin (Katie) Cianci, Nolan (Brittany) Cianci, Owen Cianci, Evan Cianci, Tyler (Ashley) Long, and A. J. Long and his fiancé Paige; a great-grandson, Ezra; and a great-granddaughter on the way.

Zina was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Pamela Cianci; and an infant son, Richard Scott Hittle.

Services:

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, 7/23/26, in Greenville Alliance Church, 63 Conneaut Lake Rd. Greenville with Pastor Kyle Nielson officiating. Family and friends will be received in the church on 7/23/26 from 10:00 AM until time of Service. Inurnment will be in Shenango Valley Cemetery. Carson St., Suite 200, Pittsburgh, PA 15203.
