William G. "Bill" Rummel

William G. “Bill” Rummel, age 73, of Greenville and formerly of Newville, PA, passed away Monday afternoon, August 11, 2025, in Kadima Rehabilitation &Nursing at Greenville.

He was born in Newville on September 14, 1951 to Charles Rummel & Goldie (Gutshall) Rummel. Bill served his country as a Marine in Vietnam from May 15, 1969 to March 15, 1971.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved being outdoors. One of Bill’s requests was to get one last big buck and to get it mounted.

He is survived by his former wife Linda Rummel of Marysville, PA; their two children Keith Rummel of Missouri and Karen Hernandez of Marysville; his brother Bob Rummel and wife Maxine of Colorado; his brother Pa and wife Helen of Ohio; and his sister Jenny Spahr and husband Kirby of Newville; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Bill was proceeded in death by his father Charles Rummel; mother Goldie (Gutshall) Rummel; sisters Betty Rummel and Mary Henry; and brothers Harry Rummel and George Rummel.

Services:
