Virginia K. Buzard

Virginia K. Buzard, age 56, of Taylor St., Greenville, passed away Monday morning, June 1, 2026, in the ER of UPMC Horizon Greenville.

She was born in Sharon on October 4, 1969 to Merrell H. Sanders, Sr. and Eleanor (Foy) Sanders. Virginia graduated from West Middlesex High School in 1988 and formerly had been employed as a cashier at the Greenville Dollar Tree and as a server at The Stone Arch Restaurant. She enjoyed all types of crafting, sitting on her porch, and visiting with family members. She especially loved cats and her dog.

On May 25, 1995, Virginia married Carl J. Buzard; he passed away July 28, 2018.

She is survived by a son, Joshua L. D. Buzard of Greenville; three brothers; a special niece, Ericalynn Sanders of West Middlesex; her best friend, Robin Watt of Greenville; and a special friend, Crystal White also of Greenville.

In addition to her husband, Virginia was preceded in death by her parents; a son, William “Billy” Schultz; and her fur daughter “Maddie.”

Services:

Per Virginia’s wishes, Cremation was chosen, and services will be held at the convenience of the family.
