Thomas W. Stewart

Thomas W. Stewart, age 72, of Leff Ave., S. Shenango Twp., Jamestown, passed away Wednesday evening, May 13, 2026, in UPMC Horizon Greenville.

He was born in Pittsburgh on October 3, 1953 to Walter Stewart, Sr. and Beatrice (Klos) Stewart. Tom was a 1971 graduate of Montour High School. He was a mechanic in the Pittsburgh area for over 30 years, retiring from Henry’s Auto Body in McKee’s Rocks.

Tom was a member of the Jamestown Firemen’s Club, and he enjoyed fishing.

On September 14, 2013, he married the former Celeste Cyprych; she passed away February 14, 2023.

Tom is survived by four daughters: Wendy (Dennis) Meli, Pamela (Raymond) Weaver, Carrie Stewart, and Jessica Helms; a son, Matthew Stewart; a stepdaughter, Christine (Mark) Handke; a stepson, Sean (Holly) Veard; a sister, Julia Stewart; four brothers: Walter “Bud” Stewart, Jr., Jon Stewart, Ron Stewart, and Jay Stewart; and five grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Allan Stewart.

Services:

Per Tom’s wishes, Cremation was chosen, and no services will be held.
