Thomas Mowery

Thomas L. Mowery, age 77, of E. Lake Rd., Jamestown passed away Monday afternoon, January 9, 2023 in the ER of UPMC Greenville.

He was born in Greenville on December 24, 1945 a son of Kenneth and Mary (Stevenson) Mowery. On May 16, 1987, Tom married the former Diane Kerins, she survives. He was the owner/operator of Mowery Trucking for many years. He was a member of Atlantic Community Church, Pumphouse # 45, and Jamestown Fireman's Club. He was a former member of Jamestown Lion's Club and Jamestown Fair Board. Tom was a volunteer firemen at Jamestown Volunteer Fire Department for over 50 years.

In addition to his wife of 35 years; he is survived a son, Thomas L. Mowery, Jr. and his wife Robin of Jamestown; three daughters, Jennifer Hoffstetter and her husband Brent of Bristolville, OH, Meghan McLeod of Manassas, VA, Kecia Myers and her husband Trevor of Munger, MI; a sister, Vivian Suchonic of Little River, NC; three brothers, Chuck Mowery and his wife Julie of Mercer, John Edward Mowery of Little River, NC, Harold Mowery and his wife Brenda of Cantwell, AK; a daughter-in-law, Liz Gill; nine grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Jason Gill, brother Howard Mowery, and a sister Loella “Dolly” Skipper. We miss you already!

A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Loutzenhiser-Randall Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 416 Liberty St., Jamestown.
