Stanley Mariacher

Stanley Mariacher, age 76, of Jamestown passed away Thursday morning, October 30, 2025, in UPMC Horizon, Greenville.

Stan was born August 29, 1949 in Meadville to Kenneth and Hallie (Herrick) Mariacher. He was a 1968 graduate of Jamestown High School. Stan was employed as a bricklayer before he eventually got his CDL. He went to work for Nick Strimbu Inc. and later was self-employed for a period of time at Stoney Creek Trucking. Stan then worked as a laborer for Greene Twp. in Jamestown while working security at Horizon Hospital in Greenville. He eventually went back to work at Nick Strimbu Inc. where he was paralyzed in a fall. He spent his final 21 years under the care of his wife and finally Kadima Health in Greenville. 

Stan was a member of Jamestown ECO Presbyterian Church where he formerly served as a Deacon and Elder. He and his wife Rhonda witnessed to many through the years and provided jackets to many Jamestown School District children. Stan enjoyed spending time with his family, reading the Bible, and sharing his Faith with others. 

He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Rhonda (McElhaney) Mariacher, whom he married on August 14, 1970; his parents; and his sister Linda Anderson. 

Stan is survived by three sons: Chad (Veronica Torres) Mariacher, Keith (Rachel) Mariacher, and Travis (Christine) Mariacher; 7 grandchildren: Blake, Shelby (Sam), Sara, Curtis, Leah (Patrick), Grace, and Blayne; and one great granddaughter, Hallie; two brothers, Terry (Deb) Mariacher and Glenn Mariacher; two brothers-in-law, George Anderson and Rob (Darlene) McElhaney; and many nieces, nephews and adopted children.

Services:

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:30 AM Saturday, 11/15/25, in Jamestown ECO Presbyterian Church 411 Liberty St. Jamestown with Pastor Tim Mayo officiating. Inurnment will be in Southside Cemetery, Shermansville.
