Sandra L. (Mezei) McElhinny

Sandra L. (Mezei) McElhinny, age 78, of Jamestown passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2025, in her residence.

She was born in Sharon on November 27, 1946 to Frank and Emma (Peto) Mezei and was a graduate of Badger High School. For the past five years, Sandy had been employed as a clerk at Last Minit Mart, Jamestown and previously had been employed at Advantage Auto Parts, Greenville, as a clerk and paint mixer. She also previously had been employed part-time at the Jamestown Camp Grounds store and Tri-State Aggregate Supply.

Sandy enjoyed old cars and taking trips to the casino.

She is survived by a brother, George Mezei, of Griffin, GA and two nephews, Brian Mezei of Fayetteville, GA and Kevin Mezei of Ashburg, VA.

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitors are welcome to pay their final respects to Sandy from 6:00-8:00 PM on Wednesday, 5/28/25, in Loutzenhiser-Randall Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 416 Liberty St., Jamestown. Burial will be in Holy Trinity Hungarian Roman Catholic Cemetery.
