Rosemary Zerr, age 77, of Valencia, PA and formerly of Greenville, passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.
She was born on May 15, 1947 in Greenville to Edwin John and Louise Virginia (Donato) Tobash. She graduated from St. Michael’s High School in 1965 and earned her registered nursing license from the Spencer School of Nursing in Meadville. She then worked as a Registered Nurse at University Hospital, Cleveland from 1969-1980 before transferring to the former Greenville Hospital where she was employed until her retirement in 2011 from UPMC Horizon.
Rosemary enjoyed gardening and walking her Cairn Terrier, Sibby. She was a member of St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, Greenville.
She married Robert F. Zerr on February 28, 1976. He preceded her in death on September 20, 1996.
She is survived by a daughter, Michele L. Zerr of Valencia; two sons, John W. (Janel Marcelino) Zerr of Pittsburgh, and R. Joseph (Emily) Zerr of Los Alamos, NM; a sister, Linda (Dean Gilliland) Tobash of Ridgewood, NJ; a brother, Peter (Bernice) Tobash of Macungie, PA; a sister-in-law, Karen Tobash of Carlisle; and two grandchildren, Arthur Zerr and Alice Zerr.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Edwin J. Tobash.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at 10:30 AM in St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, 85 N. High St., Greenville, PA 16125 with Fr. Brandon Kleckner as Celebrant. Burial will be in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Greenville.
