Richard "Rick" See of Greenville passed away Sunday, April 20, 2025 at the age of 82.

Rick was born in Grove City, PA on November 2, 1942 to Melvin and Margaret "Rita" (nee' First) See. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Mary Jo (nee’ Bonci), daughter Cindy (Graham) Lobban of Cleveland, OH, son Marc (Robin) See of Fowler, OH, and brother Tom See of Greenville, PA. Also two step sons, Frederick Turpack (Renee) of Pittsburgh, PA and Patrick (Candace) Turpack of Canfield, OH.

He was a very proud grandfather to Jeremiah (Abigail) See, Brian (Alyssa) Lobban of Akron, OH, Jonathan (Zoe) See of Warren OH, Kevin (Margaret) Lobban of Medina, OH, Lukas (Kate) See of Warren, OH, and Rhyloh, Evie and Zadie Turpack. He has two great grandsons, as well as three nieces and nephews, Connie Needels, Kim See and Tom See Jr. Rick has several close cousins, some of whom are like brothers and sisters to him.

Rick moved to Greenville at a young age where he remained. He graduated from Commodore Perry High School in 1961 and went on to electrician school where he applied his skills in helping anyone and everyone on their home, and business projects. Rick could not say no to any side job. When he was young he spent most of his spare time at the Safeway Roller Skating Rink in Hadley, PA where he taught skating lessons and was a skate guard during open skate and later he was also a skate guard at the Olympic Skating Rink in Hermitage, PA. Rick sold new and used cars for Phil Godfrey Pontiac/Motors for more than 40 years. He loved watching basketball, the Steelers and reruns of old TV shows. He adored his cats and anything else cute and cuddly. Rick was a very kind man and would give you the shirt off his back.

He is preceded in death by his grandson, Andrew See, his parents, Melvin and Rita See, his sister in law, Helen See and his best friend, Tom Kerr.

Services:

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, 5/3/25, in Loutzenhiser-Jordan Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 366-368 S. Main St. Greenville, with Deacon Frank Luciani of St. Michael Roman Catholic Church officiating. Inurnment will be in Hadley Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to Strayhaven Animal Shelter, 94 Donation Rd. Greenville, PA 16125 or Greenville Heritage Days Super Cruise with checks payable to Community Events, LLC. and mailed to Bill Sumners, 56 First Ave. Greenville, PA 16125.
