Randy D. Stafford, age 66, of S. Walnut St., Sharpsville passed away Tuesday evening, May 20, 2025 in UPMC Shadyside.
He was born in Farrell on June 12, 1958 to Thomas M. and Betty M. (Prosser) Stafford. Randy was a 1976 graduate of Reynolds High School and served in the U.S. Army from 1981-1985 and again from 1989-1995 during which he saw action in the Gulf War. Randy later had been employed as a security guard at Ellwood City Forge.
Randy was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates and Green Bay Packers fan. He enjoyed collecting and shooting guns, reading Louis L’ Amour novels, and especially, spending time with his family.
On January 23, 2013, Randy married the former Amanda R. Quick; she survives.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Alyssa (Mike) Grizanti of Conneaut, OH; a son, Buddy Redden, currently active-duty U.S. Army; a sister, Susan (Laurie) Engel of Greenville; a brother, Thomas M. (Gail) Stafford, Jr., of Sharpsville; two grandchildren, Noah and Liam; three nieces, and many cousins.
Randy was preceded in death by his parents.
His family wishes to express their great appreciation to Randy’s U. S. Army Recon Group for their years of support and contact with Randy.

A Memorial Service with Military Honors will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 31, 2025 in Jerusalem Christian Church, 560 Donation Rd. Greenville.
Arrangements have entrusted to Loutzenhiser-Jordan Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 366-368 S. Main St. Greenville.
