Randy L. Alabran, age 63, of Linesville passed away Wednesday afternoon, November 12, 2025, in Meadville Medical Center.
He was born in Greenville on May 3, 1962 to Walter F. and Anna Mae (Craig) Alabran, Sr. Randy was a 1981 graduate of Commodore Perry High School and served in the U. S. Army from 1981 – 1987. He had been employed as a clerk with the U. S. Postal Service in Linesville for 26 years.
Randy was a member of New Apostolic Church, Greenville and also attended First Baptist Church, Linesville. He enjoyed working outside, fixing things, and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
On November 26, 2004, Randy married the former Cyndi J. Campbell; she survives.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Robin (James, Sr.) Baker of Franklin; two sons, Matt Alabran of Warren, OH and Mason Schnell of Colorado; his mother, Anna Mae Shaner of Hadley; a sister, Linda (Larry) Mincer of Greenville; three brothers: Walter (Karen) Alabran, Jr. of Roanoke, VA, Willard (Joann) Alabran of Hadley, and Larry Alabran of Roanoke, VA; seven grandchildren: Melissa, Charles, Jr., Savannah, James, Jr., Faith, Paul, and Bentley; and a great-granddaughter, Hope.
Randy was preceded in death by his father; his stepfather, George K. Shaner; and his sister, April Alabran.
Services:
A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, 11/18/25, in Loutzenhiser-Jordan Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. 366-368 S. Main St. Greenville. Military Honors will be rendered by Greenville VFW Post #3374 Honor Guard at the conclusion of the Service. Family and Friends will be received in the Funeral Home on 11/18/25 from 1:00 PM until time of service. Those in attendance are invited to join the family for a Fellowship Dinner immediately following the service in New Apostolic Church 414 S. Main St. Greenville.
