Patricia Ann Patrick Knauf

Oct 2, 1940 — Aug 7, 2026

Greenville, PA

Patricia Ann Patrick Knauf, formerly from Naples FL and Greenville PA, passed away on August 7th, 2026. She left us on what was her and her beloved husband Emerson’s anniversary and his birthday. She has been alone and very sad, missing him deeply for the past 5 years.

Born October 2, 1940, Pattie was a 1959 graduate of Jamestown/ Pymatuning High, later attending Pittsburgh Beauty Academy. She worked hard her entire life first for Spencer Hospital, then as co-owner of the OC Hotel & Tavern until 1976, and additionally for 18 years at Werner Ladder - all while also operating their Hobby Horse Farm & Arena. In 1981 Pattie opened and operated Studio of Beauty until 1996, specializing in Electrolysis. After retirement and moving to FL, she continued working for Kent Security Services and then Home Health Care Services until she was 82 years old.

While always having the cleanest home of anyone ever and being an excellent cook, Pattie enjoyed caring for her horses, dancing, 4-wheeling, snowmobiling, boating, and riding her Harley until the age of 79!

Pattie is survived by her brother-in-law, Virgil Eells and his wife Debbie (whom she lovingly referred to as Pollyanna!); her nephew Jim Eells; niece Tiffany Eells Thompson; niece Terri Schrepp Shafer; goddaughter Tammy Xander Geibel; sister- in-law Janet Knierman Pazey; good friend David Bartholomew; many other nieces and nephews; and many very special friends from her home in Naples FL who helped her so much after the loss of Emerson.

The family extends a special thank you to the staff at Havenwood, Embassy of Park Ave, Meadville for the loving care given during this last year.

Pattie will be laid to rest with her love, Walter Emerson Knauf, and their beloved dog Banjo.
