P. Jeanne Gursky

P. Jeanne Gursky, age 78, of Mercer Rd., Hempfield Twp., Greenville, passed away unexpectedly Thursday evening, July 30, 2026, in UPMC Hamot.

She was born in Greenville on November 17, 1947 to Amos S. and Phyllis G. (Yarger) Floch. Jeanne graduated from Greenville High School in 1966 and received her LPN license from Choffin Career and Technical Center. She had been employed at Greenville Medical Center, the former Greenville Fashion Bug, UPMC Horizon, Greenville, and the former Cianci’s Restaurant.

Jeanne was of the Protestant Faith. She was a past member of Greenville VFW Post #3374 Auxiliary, an avid lifelong bowler, and card club member. Jeanne enjoyed spending time with her family, “granddogs,” and friends and was a devoted NASCAR Racing fan, especially Ryan Blaney.

On March 23, 1968, she married Julius “Ted” Gursky, Jr.; he survives.

In addition to her husband, Jeanne is survived by a daughter, Wendy (Dan) Redfoot of Transfer; a son, Brent Gursky (Tracey Tumpak) of Greenville; a brother, James (Pearl) Reed of Jamestown; a sister-in-law, Nancy Gursky of Greenville; and a grandson, Kellen Gursky.

Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents and a sister-in-law, Bonnie Grantham.

Services:

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, 8/5/26, in Loutzenhiser-Jordan Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 366-368 S. Main St. Greenville with Rev. Kent Bell, Pastor of Bethel Life Worship Center, officiating. Family and friends will be received in the Funeral Home on Tuesday, 8/4/26, from 4:00 – 7:00 PM. Inurnment will be in Shenango Valley Cemetery.
