Nancy M. Gruber

Nancy M. Gruber, age 83, of Atlantic, passed away surrounded by her loved ones on Sunday evening, February 1, 2026, in Embassy of Park Ave., Meadville.

She was born in Greenville on June 10, 1942 to Harry and Mary (Kutchman) Ray. Nancy graduated from Conneaut Lake High School and had been employed as the Egg Room Manager at Sperry Farms for 20 years.

She was a longtime member and treasurer of Atlantic Community Church and formerly had been a member and Noble Grand of the Golden Rule Rebecca Lodge for 20 years. Nancy enjoyed sewing, quilting, and attending her grandchildren’s sporting events.

On July 22, 1960, she married Randall Gruber; he passed away October 31, 2021.

Nancy is survived by two daughters, Joanne (Keith) Sperry of Conneaut Lake and Kristine (Richard) DeWalt of Meadville; a sister, Joanne Gruber of Jamestown; and six grandchildren: R. Benjamin (Malacci) Sperry, Lisa Sperry and her fiancé Nate McGowan, Mary (Curt) Rachocki, Michael (Abby) Sperry, Carey DeWalt and her partner Zach Hogan, and Katie M. DeWalt and her husband Spencer Boyd; three great-grandchildren: Isaiah, Millie, and Max; and a brother-in-law, Joseph Pasquino.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Thomas Ray.

Services:

A Private Funeral Service will be held in Atlantic Community Church, 3468 Atlantic Lake Rd. Atlantic, PA 16111 with Rev. Harold Walton, Pastor of the Church, officiating. Burial will be in Rocky Glen Cemetery, Adamsville. Memorial Contributions may be made to Atlantic Community Church.
