Michael W. McLaughlin

Michael W. McLaughlin, age 72, a former 30-year resident of The Greenville House, passed away Saturday evening, June 27, 2026, in Select Specialty Hospital, Boardman, OH, after spending over two months in Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh.

He was born in Greenville on November 18, 1953 to Glenn R. and Elmo J. (Zuschlag) McLaughlin. Michael graduated from Reynolds High School in 1973.

He was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed watching his great-nephews play high school basketball. Michael always could be found watching sports on TV and also bowled in a league for many years.

He is survived by three sisters: Sandra Hittle, Nancy McLaughlin, and Susan McLaughlin (Greg Martinez) and a niece, Toria Martinez.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents and his brother-in-law, Keith Hittle.

Services:

A Funeral Service will be held at 4:00 PM on Thursday, 7/2/26, in Loutzenhiser-Jordan Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 366-368 S. Main St. Greenville, with Rev. Earl Butterfield, Pastor of First United Methodist Church, Greenville, officiating. Family and friends will be received in the Funeral Home on 7/2/26 from 2:00 PM until time of Service. Burial will be in Rock Ridge Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to The Good Shepherd Center, PO Box 422 Greenville, PA 16125.
