Linda M. Kloss – Marrie, age 77, of N. Main St. Greenville passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 2, 2025, in UPMC Jameson.
She was born in Hornell, NY on February 11, 1948 to Robert and Margaret (Hollister) Tyler. Linda graduated from Hornell (NY) High School. She had been employed at Walmart in Hermitage and Salem, OH and previously had managed the automotive parts department at Valley View, Brookfield, OH.
Linda was a member of the Italian Home Club and a previous member of the Greenville Family Moose #276 and F. O. E. #805. She enjoyed diamond dots art, tri-chem painting, ceramics, camping, trips to the beach, her dogs, and dancing. Linda especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
On December 9, 2006, she married Thomas P. Marrie; he survives.
In addition to her husband, Linda is survived by three sons: John R. Kloss and his companion, Patty Schuster, of Sharon, David M. (Cara) Kloss of Sharpsville, and Robert D. (Liz) Kloss of Transfer; a stepson, Thomas P. (Sherry) Marrie, Jr. of Kinsman, OH; two brothers, Timothy (Bonnie) Tyler and Robert Tyler; six grandchildren: Ashley, Allen, John, Tori, Robbie, and Danielle; and three great-grandchildren: Abigail, Dominic, and Aubrey. She also survives by her previous husband, John Kloss, of Sharon.
Linda was preceded in death by her father and her mother, Magaret (John) Cull.
Services:
Cremation was chosen, and no services will be held.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Loutzenhiser-Jordan Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. 366-368 S. Main St. Greenville.
