Linda L. Baird, age 84, of Hempfield Twp., Greenville passed away Tuesday evening, July 29, 2025.
She was born in Washington, PA on April 18, 1941 to W. Carl and Mildred (Maccartney) Pence and graduated from Meadville High School in 1959. Linda was a homemaker and had previous employment at CVS Pharmacy, Meadville.
On June 5, 1995, she married James W. Baird; he passed away February 20, 2014.
Linda is survived by a daughter, Lorraine (Gary) McBride of Englewood, FL; two grandchildren, Brittany (Theodore) McBride-Doughty of Fredericksburg, VA and Mitchell McBride of Tampa, FL; and a stepson, James (Cindy) Baird of Jamestown.
In addition to her husband, Linda was preceded in death by her parents.
Services:
Per Linda’s wishes, Cremation was chosen, and no services will be held. Inurnment will be in Rocky Glen Cemetery, Adamsville.
