Lee B. Smith, age 58, of Greiser Rd, Conneaut Lake, passed away Saturday morning, January 3, 2026, at UPMC Horizon, Greenville, surrounded by family, following a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born October 30, 1967, a son to Rida M. (Clark) Smith and Raymond J. Smith. Lee attended Reynolds High School and had been employed at Hodge Foundry, Greenville.
On April 22, 1989, Lee married his soulmate, Sharon L. Reeher, and was a devoted and loyal husband for over 36 years.
Lee enjoyed many hobbies including camping, fishing, snowmobile riding, cruising on his Harley Davidson motorcycle, and spending time with family and friends. His lifelong passion was restoring muscle cars and building performance motors, and he could often be found in the garage working on his classic Camaros. Lee was a selfless individual, quick to help a stranger, often putting others needs above his own. He was a lifelong animal lover and advocate, adopting and caring for numerous pets throughout his lifetime. He leaves behind several pets at home, including faithful canine companion, Bandit.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Sharon; parents, Raymond and Rida Smith of Jamestown; brother, Gorden (Patricia) Smith, niece, Rebecca Smith, and nephew, Tyler Smith, all of Greenville; special sister-in-law, Christine McElhinny Houston (Matthew) of Ocean Isle Beach, NC; parents-in-law Walter and Georgellen Reeher of Jamestown, along with several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Richard J. Smith; uncle, Richard O. Smith; aunt, Karen Loutzenhiser; cousins David Smith and Traci Loutzenhiser, and several other aunts, uncles, and grandparents.
The family would like to express our deepest gratitude to UPMC Family Hospice and UPMC Horizon Greenville 3MT nursing staff for their loving and compassionate care of Lee in his final days.
