Karl P. Green

Karl P. Green, age 93, of Andover, OH and formerly of Atlantic, PA, passed away Saturday evening, March 7, 2026 in Andover Village.

He was born in Kittanning, PA on August 30, 1932 to Paul and Dorothy (Enterline) Green. Karl attended North Shenango School and served in the U. S. Army from 1951 – 1954 during the Korean War. He had been employed as a laborer at Greenville Tube Corp. and Salem Tube Corp.

Karl was a member of Fallowfield United Methodist Church and the Atlantic Grange.

On September 14, 1956, he married the former Marion I. Courtney; she passed away February 10, 2024. Karl is survived by his daughter, Melanie and her husband Ken of Conneaut Lake; a son, Alan and his wife Jeanna of Atlantic; a sister in law, Wilma Ferguson of Hartstown; four grandchildren, Adam Green (Jessie), Teanna Carberry (Brandon), Karlee Bartoo (Anthony), McKenna Castile; and seven great-grandchildren, Liam Bartoo, Madison Castile, Emma Castile, Rowan Green, Willow Green, Taylor Fay and Ellie Carberry.

In addition to his wife, he was proceeded in death by his parents; two sisters, Shirley Penman and Pauline Moon; and a brother Douglas Green.

The family would like to give a special thank you to all the Staff at Andover Village for loving our father and taking care of him and also a special thanks to his care giver for years, Delores Hutchins, who was always so loving and kind.

Services: 

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, 3/11/26, at Fallowfield United Methodist Church, 3993 Leach Road, Atlantic, PA, with Rev. Les Hutchins officiating. Military Honors will be rendered by Greenville VFW Post #3374 Honor Guard. Family and friends will be received in the church on Tuesday, 3/10/26, from 4:00 – 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, 3/11/26, from 10:00 AM until time of service. Burial will be in Rocky Glen Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Fallowfield United Methodist Church, 3993 Leach Rd, Atlantic, PA 16111 or to CASH All Sports Boosters, 302 W. School Drive, Linesville PA 16424.
