Kaleb Alexander Carr, age 15, of Dowling Rd., Greene Twp., Jamestown, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday evening, June 1, 2025, in his residence.

He was born in Farrell on September 25, 2009 to Andy D. and Lindsey M. (Egelsky) Carr. Kaleb was an eighth grader at Jamestown Middle School and recently received the American Legion Outstanding Citizenship Award.

He was a member of his school’s track, cross country, and basketball teams and had qualified for the District 10 Track Meet this spring. Kaleb was everyone’s best friend and never met a stranger. He was always extremely helpful and respectful to his fellow community members. Kaleb was a bike enthusiast who loved dirt biking, motorcycles, and pedal biking and had been building his own moped. He recently had restored a pedal bike for a friend overcoming an illness.

Kaleb is survived by his mother, Lindsey Carr, of Jamestown; two brothers: Jade P. Carr and Terrance L. Carr, of Jamestown; paternal grandparents, Ronald and Sharon Carr of Jamestown; maternal grandfather, Mark Egelsky, of Jamestown; and maternal grandmother, Betty Egelsky, of Farrell. Also surviving are many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Andy Carr, and his stepfather, Louie Isenberg.

Services:

Family and friends will be received from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM on Saturday, 6/14/25, in Loutzenhiser-Randall Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 416 Liberty St. Jamestown. A Celebration of Kaleb’s Life Gathering (Party) will be held immediately following the visitation at the Carr residence located at 303 Dowling Rd. Jamestown. In lieu of flowers and in honor of Kaleb’s patriotism and desire to join the Marine Corps, Memorial Contributions may be made to The Wounded Warrior Project (https://support.woundedwarriorproject.org) or the Navy – Marine Corps Relief Society (www.nmcrs.org).
