Joseph M. "Joe" Parillo

Joseph M. “Joe” Parillo, age 78, of W. Salem Twp., Greenville, passed away Thursday evening, February 12, 2026, surrounded by his loving family and his faithful, furry girl “Bella.”

He was born in New Castle on July 4, 1947 to Andrew and Ann (Pallott) Parillo. Joe was a graduate of Greenville High School and served in the U. S. Army overseas in Germany during the Vietnam War. Joe was employed as a long-haul truck driver for over 30 years, and during his younger years, he operated a service garage in Greenville.

Joe will be remembered always by his family for his loving words of wisdom, always being there for all of them, and for being the best father and husband.

On April 13, 1985, he married the former Laura Shaffer; she survives.

Also surviving are five children: son Brad (LeeAnn) Reinhart, daughter Cheri DiGregorio, daughter Kelly (Gary) Sorg, daughter Laurie Parillo, and son Matt (Jaime) Parillo; his grandchildren: Michael, Gino, Brittany, Alex, Jake, Nicole, Nick, Crue, Cami, and Madi; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Andrew Parillo; and a sister, Jeanette (Lonnie) Ferguson.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a son-in-law, Todd DiGregorio.

Services:

A Funeral Service will be held at 6:00 PM on Thursday, 2/19/26, in Loutzenhiser-Jordan Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 366-368 S. Main St. Greenville, with Pastor Bill Locke of Clark Trinity United Methodist Church officiating. Family and friend will be received in the funeral home on 2/19/26 from 4:00 PM until time of Service. Joe’s furry friend “Bella” was a rescue dog, and he would appreciate that donations to be made to Strayhaven Animal Shelter, 94 Donation Rd. Greenville, PA 16125.
