John J. Tumpak, age 95, of Greenville passed away Sunday morning, August 10, 2025, in Kadima Rehabilitation & Nursing at Greenville.
He was born in the Village of Shenango, PA on April 27, 1930 to Alex and Cornelia (Bukoski) Tumpak. John was a 1949 graduate of Penn High School and served in the U. S. Navy from 1951-1955 on the U. S. S. Boxer in Japan. He retired from Wheatland Tube Corp. as a machine operator and previously had been employed for 25 years as a machine operator at Greenville Tube Corp.
John was a member of St. Michael Roman Catholic Church. Over the years he enjoyed bowling in many different leagues.
John is survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Ann Coxson and Ethel Pallone; and five brothers: Rudy, Jim, Emil, Joseph, and Stephen.
Services:
Cremation was chosen, and no services will be held. Inurnment will be in St. Michael’s Cemetery.
