John G. Cropcho

John G. Cropcho, age 69, of Jamestown, passed away Saturday morning, July 4, 2026.

He was born in Allegheny County on October 9, 1956 to John and Pauline (Bielek) Cropcho. John was a 1974 graduate of Valley High School. He retired as the Property Sergeant at SCI Mercer in 2006 following 25 years of employment. After retirement, John had worked as the Security Supervisor at the General Electric Grove City Plant, and as a limo driver, cook, and landscaper.

He was a past member of Greenville Family Moose #276, B. P. O. E. #145, The Italian Home Club, and the Jamestown Fireman’s Club. John enjoyed bowling and playing pool, and he participated in local leagues and was a member of the National Pool Association.

He is survived by two sons, Jonathan Cropcho of Dallas, TX and Michael Cropcho of Greenville.

John was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Joan Cropcho and Deborah Cropcho.

Services:

Per John’s wishes, Cremation was chosen, and services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Loutzenhiser-Randall Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 416 Liberty St. Jamestown.
