Janet DiAngi, age 93, of Greenville, passed away Saturday, July 3, 2021 in St. Paul's Senior Living Community and fell into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ after a period of declining health.

She was born at home, on Ridge Ave. in Greenville on August 2, 1927 to Gaetano and Adeline (Vizza) DeNicola. Janet married Angelo DiAngi on January 26, 1946, he preceded her in death on October 23, 2003. She attended Penn High School. Janet began working as a waitress when she was a teenager and worked for many years at the former Patio Restaurant in Greenville. Through the work she developed many friendships of which she was proud. Her customers enjoyed her wit and fun demeanor as she brought them their meals.

She spent much of her life at church and church activities both as a youth and adult. Her faith was the most important thing to her. She enjoyed attending church camps and rallies with her friends and family. One of her fun stories to recall, was dressing as the Easter Bunny in the Greenville Easter Parade! Janet was known for her great Italian culinary skills and sharing that delicious food with others.

Janet is survived by her son; Dick Diangi (Rhonda) of Meadville, one sister; Helen Volpe of Greenville, two brothers; Daniel DeNicola of Greenville and David DeNicola (Barb) of East Aurora, NY. Also surviving are two grandsons; Rev. Joel DiAngi (Collette) of Greenville and Jared DiAngi of Anderson, SC, two great-grandchildren; Sanae DiAngi and Angelo DiAngi of San Francisco, CA, three nieces; Joan Volpe Little of Greenville, Carol Anne McCabe of Pasadena, CA and Sherry Reinhart of East Aurora, NY and five nephews; Albert Volpe, Jr. of Greenville, Robert Volpe of Greenville, Mark DeNicola (Connie) of Knoxville, TN, Eric DeNicol (Lisa) Mt.
