Henry E. Moreland, age 84, of Jamestown passed away Monday morning, May 10, 2021 in Marquette Hospice House, Meadville.
He was born in Jamestown on July 11, 1936 a son of Wilson E. and Edna G. (Robertson) Moreland. He served his country in the United States Army as an Airborne Infantry Paratrooper from 1954-1957. He was the owner/operator of Moreland Motors garage and car dealership in Conneaut Lake, was a train conductor, owned Moreland Tavern/Restaurant, and drove buses for O.D. Anderson.
He is survived by a daughter, Julie Patterson and her husband William of Richmond, VA and Jamestown, PA; two sisters, Onnalee Patterson and her husband Jim of Greenville, Grace Wagner and her husband Bob of Fredonia; a brother, James W. Moreland and his wife Fran of Jamestown; two grandchildren, William Patterson and his wife Heather of Wiggins, MS and Lauren Patterson-Wagy and her husband Andrew of Richmond, VA; three great grandchildren, Kendyl, Saoirse, and Blake. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Thomas W. Moreland and George L. Moreland.
A Celebration of Life will be held later this summer. Inurnment will be in Park Lawn Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to LOUTZENHISER-RANDALL FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 416 LIBERTY ST., JAMESTOWN.
