George H. Lumley, Jr.

George H. Lumley, Jr., age 58, of Liberty St., Jamestown passed away Thursday evening, July 3, 2025, in his residence.

He was born in Greenville on May 17, 1967 to George H. Lumley, Sr. and Patricia (Stodolak) Lumley. George was a 1986 graduate of Jamestown High School and had served in the United States Army for several years. He had previously been employed at Combined Systems, Inc.

George was a member of St. Margaret Roman Catholic Church, Jamestown. He also was a member of Jamestown VFW Post #5424 and the Jamestown Firemen’s Club. Additionally, George was a past member of the Jamestown Honor Guard. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

George is survived by a sister, Theresa (David) Purcell of Gettysburg; a brother, Patrick (Shelly) Lumley of Jamestown; two nephews, Anthony Purcell and Keith Peck; and a niece, Lindsy Lumley.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Toni Nisbet.

Services:

Cremation was chosen, and no services will be held.
