Frances A. Orris, age 84, of North 3rd St. Jamestown, passed away Sunday morning, November 16, 2025, in the ER of UPMC Horizon, Greenville.
She was born in Braddock, PA on January 24, 1941 to Andrew B. and Anne (Ondovcik) Kruszyna. Frances was a 1958 graduate of Munhall High School and had been employed for 15 years as the Secretary to the Superintendent at West Mifflin School District.
She was a member of St. Margaret Catholic Church, Jamestown where she had been active with the Ladies Guild and was a past member of Westford Flower Club. Frances enjoyed cooking, playing cards, and reading.
On September 10, 1960, she married Edward F. Orris; he survives.
In addition to her husband, Frances is survived by two sons, Edward F. (Lisa Lisanti) Orris, Jr. of Pittsburgh and Robert P. Orris of Jamestown; a sister, Kathleen (Larry) Karlock of Canfield, OH; four grandchildren: Noah, Isaiah, Jimmy, and Jillian; and one great-grandchild, Cameron.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services:
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, 12/9/25, in St. Margaret Catholic Church 701 Denver St. Jamestown with Fr. Thomas N. Trocchio, Pastor of the Church, as Celebrant. Inurnment will be in the columbarium of St. Michael’s Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Margaret Catholic Church 85 N. High St. Greenville, PA 16125.
