Dorothy G. (Bee) McConnell

Dorothy G. (Bee) McConnell, age 96, of Greenville, passed away Thursday evening, March 19, 2026, in St. Paul’s Senior Living Community.

She was born in Cherry Tree, PA on September 30, 1929 to Laurence H. and Eva (Lydic) Bee. Dot graduated from Penn High School in 1947. She was employed as a sales clerk at Wasser’s Men’s Store for 20 years and previously had been employed as a sales clerk at Foulk Drug Store.

Dot was a member of the Church of Christ, Greenville. She enjoyed watching television, gardening and yard work in her younger years, cooking and baking (especially her cinnamon rolls), and spending time with her family.

Dot is survived by two sons, Larry L. (Debbie) McConnell of Hadley and Randy M. (Cheryl) McConnell of Leetonia, OH; a brother, Richard (Sandy) Bee of Canfield, OH; three grandchildren: Cale McConnell, Carrie (Randy) Peterman, and Carly McConnell and her husband Zack Wiley; and eight great-grandchildren: Landon, Addison, Hunter, Maeva, Zaydon, Colton, Willow, and Brooklyn.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother Donald (Sis) Bee; and a great-grandson, Gavin Peterman.

Services:

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, 3/26/26, in Loutzenhiser-Jordan Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 366-368 S. Main St. Greenville with Eric Matthews officiating. Family and friends will be received in the Funeral Home on 3/26/26 from 12:00 PM until time of Service. Inurnment will be in Shenango Valley Cemetery.
