Dorothy A. Frazier, age 93, of Greenville, passed away Sunday morning, June 28, 2026, in St. Paul’s Senior Living Community.

She was born in St. Anthony, MO, on October 7, 1932 to Phillip S. and Augusta (Evers) Bax. Dorothy was employed as a housekeeper in the Greenville area for many years and previously had been employed by a family in St. Louis from 1951 – 1956.

She was a member of St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, Greenville where she assisted with the St. Michael’s School Bazaar and with Church funeral dinners. Dorothy enjoyed sewing, quilting, and baking.

On May 5, 1956, Dorothy married Leo J. Frazier, Jr.; he passed away November 20, 2020.

She is survived by three daughters: Janet K. (Donald) Anderson of Burlington, VT, Donna M. (Carl) McIlwain of Andover, OH, and Maria R. (Don) Holsten of Greenville; a son, Gerald P. Frazier of Greenville; a brother, Anthony (Jeannie) Bax of St. Anthony, MO; and five grandchildren: Chara Anderson, Christa (Keegan) Carter, Brett McIlwain, Brandon (Kristen) Holsten, and Erica (Mikel) Russell.

In addition to her husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter, Diane Frazier; three sisters, Irene Blomberg, Eleanor Bax, and Mildred Blomberg; and five brothers: Leonard, John, Jerome, Sylvester, and Raymond Bax.

Services:

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 AM Thursday, 7/2/26, in St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, with Fr. Thomas N. Trocchio, Pastor of the Church, as Celebrant. Family and friends will be received on Thursday, 7/2/26, from 10:00 – 11:00 AM in Loutzenhiser-Jordan Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 366-368 S. Main St. Greenville. Inurnment will be in St. Michael’s Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, 85 N. High St. Greenville, PA 16125 or St. Paul’s Senior Living Community, 339 E. Jamestown Rd. Greenville, PA 16125.
