Debra Jean Dawson

Debra J. Dawson, age 63, of Greenville passed away Wednesday afternoon, March 11, 2026, in her residence.

She was born in Washington, D. C. on August 24, 1962 to Clarence H. and Jean P. (Allen) Dawson. Debbie attended North Western High School in Adelphi, MD. She previously was employed for six years as a clerk at the B. P. Convenience Store in Montrose, VA and also had been employed by Kern Windows & Doors of Virginia.

Debbie was of the Episcopalian Faith. She enjoyed shopping, drawing, cooking, and loved her cat, “Josie.” She was known as a loving and caring sister, friend, and companion.

Debbie is survived by a son, Andrew Dawson of Wicomico Church, VA; a sister, Brenda (Thomas) Lazar of Pasadena, MD; her companion, Mike Sinclair of Greenville who was her loving caregiver; a niece, Jennifer Lazar; and a nephew, Thomas C. (Melissa) Lazar.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Services:

Per Debbie’s wishes, Cremation was chosen, and no services will be held.
