Barbara L. Goldbach

Barbara L. Goldbach, age 87, of Spring Dr., S. Shenango Twp., Jamestown, passed away unexpectedly Friday morning, January 30, 2026, in her residence.

She was born in Carnegie, PA on July 17, 1938 to Thomas W. and Helen (Darabos) Kirkwood. Barbara graduated from Carnegie High School in 1957 and from Duff’s Business School in 1959. She was employed for four years by Chubb & Son Insurance Co. prior to becoming a full-time homemaker.

Barbara was a member of St. Margaret Catholic Church, Jamestown. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.

On February 27, 1960, Barbara married Raymond Goldbach; he survives.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters: Lea (Russell) Wright, Linda Barufaldi, and Hope (Michael) Martin-Palmer; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; an infant granddaughter, Chrissy Barufaldi; and two brothers, Ronald Kirkwood and Richard Kirkwood.

Services:

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, 2/3/26, in St. Margaret Catholic Church, 701 Denver St. Jamestown, with Fr. Thomas N. Trocchio, Pastor of the Church, as Celebrant. Family and friends will be received in the church on 2/3/26 from 10:00 AM until time of Mass. Inurnment will be in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Greenville. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Margaret Catholic Church.
