Arvide Anne “Annie” Richards-Hall, age 88, of Vernon Twp., Meadville passed away peacefully at home Thursday morning, September 4, 2025.
She was born in Greenville on October 13, 1936 to Joseph R. and Margaret (Christy) Jayne. Arvide was known to her loved ones and friends as “Annie.” She was a 1954 graduate of Jamestown High School and later completed the Certified Nurse’s Aide program at the Mercer County Vo-Tech. Annie retired from St. Paul’s Senior Living Community in 2007 following 35 years of employment as a C. N. A.
Annie was a member of Christian Assembly Church, Greenville and had volunteered at The Good Shepherd Center. She loved to go for long drives and picnics with her family and enjoyed watching the birds from her window. Annie especially loved her dog “Sophie” and her three cats, “Baby,” “Oscar,” and “Sammy.” In her younger years, Annie performed as a majorette and as a member of her high school choir. She also performed as a soloist at various events held by the Crawford County Young Democrats of which she was a proud past member. Most of all, Annie enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
On November 9, 2009, she married Stuart D. Hall; he passed away December 9, 2022. They enjoyed 16 happy years together.
Annie leaves behind three children: a son, Robert M. (Kris) Richards of Sharon; two daughters, Christi L. (Tom) McMath of Sharpsville and Cathi J. (Jim) Sansone of West Middlesex; a daughter-in-law, Laralee Richards; three stepsons: Carson Hall of Meadville, Patrick (Yvonne) Hall of Denver, CO, and Maverick Hall of the Philippines; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; a niece; and two nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Russell M. Richards; a sister, Ella Sue Kobert; and a brother, Joey R. Jayne.

A Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 PM Thursday, 9/11/25, in Loutzenhiser-Jordan Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. 366-368 S. Main St. Greenville with Dennis Wise officiating. Family and friends will be received in the Funeral Home on Thursday, 9/11/25, from 4:00 PM until time of service. Memorial Contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project P.O.
