Albert M. “Al” Millero, Jr., age 90, of Hempfield Twp., Greenville, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 21, 2026.
He was born in Greenville on July 19, 1935 to Albert M. Millero, Sr. and Margaret (Jordan) Millero. Al attended St. Michael’s School and served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War, stationed in Korea for 14 months. Al was an entrepreneur in the local area for over 60 years, owning several businesses including a gas station, pizza shop, convenience store, trucking company, and excavating business. In addition, during his younger years, he had worked as a police officer.
He was a member of St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, Greenville. Al was a life member of the Knights of Columbus Fitzmartin Council #1446, The Italian Home Club of Greenville, and Greenville VFW Post #3374. He also was a member of Greenville Moose Family Center #276. Al was a car enthusiast who had the first hot rod in Greenville and was best known for his 1932 Ford Coupe. He was an avid sportsman, conservationist, outdoorsman, and animal lover and enjoyed flying, fishing, hunting, NASCAR, spending time at and working on his property, and being with his family and friends.
On September 14, 1957, Al married the former Marie Euliano; she survives.
In addition to his wife, Al is survived two daughters: Della Wisnewski of Sewickley and Margie Millero and her husband Ryan Fleming of New York, NY; a sister, Frances (Tony) Gaus of Greenville; three brothers: Edward (Kathleen) Millero, Richard (Judy) Millero, and James Millero, all of Greenville; and four grandchildren, Nathan Wisnewski Kayla Wisnewski and her fiancé Dylan Watkins, Pierce Fleming, and Axel Walker Fleming.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Joseph Millero and Raymond Millero.
Services:
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, 4/24/26, in St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, 85 N. High St. Greenville, with Fr. Thomas N. Trocchio, Pastor of the Church, as Celebrant. Family and friends will be received from 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM on 4/24/26 in Loutzenhiser-Jordan Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 366-368 S. Main St. Greenville. Committal Prayers and Military Honors rendered by Greenville VFW Post #3374 Honor guard will follow the Mass in St. Michael’s Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to Strayhaven Animal Shelter, 94 Donation Rd. Greenville, PA 16125.
